The A Block of the Best of the Super Juniors (BOSJ) tournament reaches its climax on May 27 at Kiramesse Numazu in Shizuoka, with competitors vying for crucial points to secure a spot in the finals in Ota City. Hiromu Takahashi, after a rocky start with three consecutive losses, has rebounded strongly, riding a winning streak that has put his fate back in his own hands. A victory in the main event against Robbie X would send him to the finals, though the challenge is far from simple. Robbie X, a last-minute addition to the tournament, has defied expectations with an impressive debut run despite his 3-5 record. With no prior singles matches between them, their encounter promises unpredictability and high stakes.
Kosei Fujita has showcased his growth throughout the tournament, adapting to different wrestling styles, from technical bouts to wild brawls. His final challenge comes against Clark Connors, the hard-hitting DEFY Champion and War Dogs member. Connors, aided by a disqualification win over Francesco Akira, remains in contention but needs a team effort to advance—he must defeat Fujita and rely on Robbie X to upset Hiromu. Fujita has beaten Connors before, but recent struggles against aggressive opponents raise doubts about his chances.
