WWE NXT Battleground 2025 is set to take place on Sunday, May 25, at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. The event will be streamed on Peacock in the U.S. and Netflix internationally, making history as the first WWE event to feature a TNA World Championship defense. The predicted match card features several high-stakes showdowns, including championship bouts and dream matches.
One of the marquee matchups will see NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer defend her title against Jordynne Grace. Vaquer has been dominant, showcasing her skills even on Monday Night Raw, while Grace is determined to capture her first WWE championship. The question remains: Will Vaquer continue her reign, or will Grace usher in a new era as champion?
The NXT Championship will be contested in a David vs. Goliath clash, with Myles Borne challenging the dominant Oba Femi. Borne earned his shot by winning a 25-Man Battle Royal, while Femi remains a formidable champion after defeating Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans in a Triple Threat at Stand & Deliver.
