The grandest tournament in professional wrestling, G1 Climax 34, is here with 20 men in two blocks competing for the prestigious trophy and a ticket to Wrestle Kingdom 19’s main event on January 4, 2025. The main event features Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito, who last faced each other five years ago in a singles match at G1 in Osaka. Their rivalry dates back to their training days at Animal Hamaguchi’s gym. Although Naito won their 2019 match, Takagi disputes Naito’s claim of dominance. Now in 2024, they fight for personal pride and a crucial first win in the series.
