The January 20 episode of WWE NXT promises an action-packed night with high stakes and fresh storylines. NXT North American Champion Ethan Page will defend his title against debuting challenger Elio LeFleur, who is eager to shock the NXT Universe with an upset victory. The show will also feature the beginning of qualifying matches for a six-man Ladder Match to crown a new NXT Champion on February 3, following Oba Femi’s decision to vacate the title at New Year’s Evil. Josh Briggs faces Shiloh Hill, while Sean Legacy battles Eli Knight, with both winners moving closer to the vacant championship. In addition, a big three-way tag match will decide the number one contenders for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship, as Sol Ruca & Zaria, Wren Sinclair & Kendal Grey, and Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid all compete for a title opportunity.
