UFC Fight Night 248 features a headline clash between former bantamweight champion Petr Yan and ex-flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo on Saturday, Nov. 23, at Galaxy Arena in Macau. Ranked No. 3 and No. 5 respectively in the UFC bantamweight division, both fighters aim to solidify their status as top contenders for champion Merab Dvalishvili, whose first title defense remains uncertain.

Yan (17-5 MMA, 9-4 UFC) rebounded from a three-fight losing streak with a unanimous decision victory over Song Yadong at UFC 299 in March. Previously, Yan had lost to Aljamain Sterling, Sean O’Malley, and Dvalishvili. Figueiredo (24-3-1 MMA, 13-3-1 UFC) has been on an impressive run since moving up to bantamweight last December. Fighting four times in 11 months, he has defeated Rob Font, Cody Garbrandt, and Marlon Vera, positioning himself as a top contender.

The event includes 13 fights, with prelims starting at 3 a.m. ET and the main card at 6 a.m. ET. The Yan-Figueiredo main event walkout is scheduled for approximately 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 a.m. local time). The card streams on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
