UFC 328: Chimaev vs Strickland Live, May 9th, 2026, Watch-Wrestling FHD stream
UFC 328 is at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on Saturday night. It includes a main event where Khamzat Chimaev defends the middleweight title against Sean Strickland. On BetMGM, Chimaev is the favorite with odds of -550 – but bettors have divided their support besides Strickland has 89 % of the total money with odds of +400.
During a public event on Thursday, the two fighters stood close together. At this time Chimaev used his leg to strike Strickland on the leg. By doing this he caused security staff to step between the men. Due to those actions, Dana White stated that this is one of the three most significant conflicts in the history of the company.
Chimaev is undefeated with 15 wins and zero losses – in his career, he has won four matches – forcing opponents to give up. As for Strickland, he gained this opportunity after he stopped Anthony Hernandez with strikes in the third round during February – this match is five rounds long. For Chimaev, this is the first time he defends his title. For Strickland, this is an attempt to take back the championship that he lost to Dricus du Plessis in January 2024.
In the second most important match, flyweight champion Joshua Van fights Tatsuro Taira – this match is a title fight that the company moved from UFC 327. Van is from Myanmar. He is the first person who was born after the year 1999 to win a UFC title. To win the belt at UFC 323, he fought Alexandre Pantoja, who hurt his arm 26 seconds after the match started.
Taira is now the favorite with odds of -160 – if he wins, he is the first person from Japan to hold a UFC championship. On the betting market, 52 % of the money is for Taira.
