The Hammerstein Ballroom at Manhattan Center in New York City holds a special place in wrestling history, particularly for Ring of Honor (ROH). Wrestling began there in the Grand Ballroom in 1993, but ROH’s use of the Hammerstein, starting with A New Level in May 2008, cemented its legendary status. Over the years, ROH hosted 22 events in the Hammerstein and 19 in the Grand Ballroom, featuring iconic matches such as Bryan Danielson defending the ROH World Title against KENTA, Homicide winning the title in his hometown at Final Battle 2006, and The Briscoes triumphing in a Ladder War at Final Battle 2018. The venue has seen legendary wrestlers like Hiroshi Tanahashi, Will Ospreay, and Jay White in unforgettable matches.
After a hiatus since 2019, ROH returns to the Hammerstein Ballroom for Final Battle 2024. The event will feature six championship matches, including a Women’s World Title clash between Athena and Billie Starkz, and a Men’s World Title bout between Chris Jericho and Matt Cardona. Fans can watch live on Honor Club, with Zero Hour kicking off at 7 PM ET on YouTube and the main event starting at 8 PM ET. Fans in attendance can expect a special experience at this historic wrestling venue.
