The G1 Climax qualifier tournaments have set the stage for New Japan Soul on July 3 in Korakuen Hall, just before the series finale in Adachi. YOSHI-HASHI, who advanced past Chase Owens, will face Tomohiro Ishii, a formidable opponent he’s never beaten. This CHAOS derby is crucial as YOSHI-HASHI aims for his eighth G1 entry, while Ishii seeks to maintain his streak of entries since 2013. Despite Ishii’s lackluster record, his fighting spirit has been a highlight for a decade. However, with veteran participants at risk, Ishii could face an upset.
