The ninth season of Dana White’s Contender Series begins on Tuesday, August 12, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, running for 10 weeks. The goal remains the same — fighters compete for a coveted UFC contract, with this week’s event featuring five bouts across five weight divisions.
Since its launch in 2017, the DWCS has led to 287 UFC contracts, including 42 awarded in last year’s Season 8. The show has also produced three UFC champions: Sean O’Malley, Jamahal Hill, and Jack Della Maddalena.
Season 9, Episode 3 airs on ESPN+ at 8:00 p.m. ET, showcasing a new crop of fighters hoping to impress Dana White and earn their place in the UFC.
