The Best of the Super Jr. tournament has reached its midway point after just one week, with the 20 competitors now battling fiercely for the top spot or fighting to stay alive. Hiromu Takahashi headlines his third match in four nights, facing Clark Connors in his hometown of Hachioji. Hiromu has struggled early, with only one win against KUSHIDA followed by losses to Kosei Fujita, Francesco Akira, and Dragon Dia. Connors, despite a strong start against Master Wato, has also faced setbacks, including a countout loss to Yoshinobu Kanemaru and an upset defeat to Dia. However, his recent victory over Robbie X has restored some momentum, and a win over Hiromu in front of his home crowd would be a major statement—though an extremely difficult task.
