The January 6 broadcast of WWE NXT is the yearly New Year’s Evil special and the brand’s first program of 2026. The card is full. Oba Femi must guard his NXT Championship against TNA’s X-Division Champion Leon Slater, who gained the contest – winning a fatal four way match – if he wins, he will hold two belts. Thea Hail will risk her NXT Women’s North American Title against Blake Monroe in a hot return bout after last month’s disputed finish. Jacy Jayne will guard her NXT Women’s Championship against Kendal Grey, the Iron Survivor Challenge victor. Tatum Paxley besides Izzi Dame will also meet again to end their feud after Dame turned on Paxley and beat her once before.
