The final NJPW event in the US for 2024 will take place on December 15 at the Walter Pyramid, setting the stage for Wrestle Kingdom 19 and Wrestle Dynasty. The main event features Mercedes Moné defending her NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship against Hazuki. Hazuki earned her title shot in a chaotic four-way match on November 8, but Moné, determined to remain champion, delivered a Backstabber post-match. This marks the first-ever singles match between Moné and Hazuki, with high stakes leading into the new year.
In a special tag match, Shingo Takagi and Yota Tsuji team up against Konosuke Takeshita and Jack Perry, previewing their January 4 Tokyo Dome matches. Takagi will face Takeshita for the NEVER Openweight and possibly AEW International titles, while Tsuji challenges David Finlay for the IWGP Global Championship. Tsuji also has a January 5 grudge match against Perry after Perry’s shocking attack at Fighting Spirit Unleashed. LIJ’s cohesion contrasts with the uncertain alliance of Perry and Takeshita, who represent HOUSE OF TORTURE and the Don Callis Family, respectively.
Elsewhere, Shota Umino faces Zack Sabre Jr. in another Wrestle Kingdom preview, while Shane Haste and Bad Dude Tito join forces with the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion to take on a determined Dirty Work team.
